CONJURING (19 minutes, digital video, color, sound, currently in post production)

CONJURING documents Colorado’s Aurora Kelley Reservoir through Winter, Spring, and Summer - a place where flora and fauna find solace within the city, and the previous site of fracking well contamination during the devastating flood of 2013. Meanwhile, the film draws connections random and profound, weaving together memoir, scientific and theoretical research, myth, and conspiracy, and reflecting on the contested question of nature’s controllability/uncontrollability from early medieval to postcolonial times.
